GLENDON SCHOOL OF PUBLIC AND INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS VISITING SCHOLARS 2013 Combining theory and practice in both official languages BMO Visiting Fellow Eugene Lang's recent ne writings have included two op eds on the political economy of CNOOC's bid to takeover Nexen, as well as a history ell of tax policy in Canada, to be included as a chapter in Alex Himelfarb's forthcoming book, Let's Raise Taxes. BMO Visiting Fellow Sven Spengemann is presently Combining theory and practice in both official languages working on a book regarding his experience in Iraq (2005-2012). Through his most recent function in Baghdad, as Senior Constitutional Officer with the UN Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI), he provided advice and support on constitutional and legislative matters to the Iraqi Council of Representatives and the executive branch. Combining theory and practice in both official languages Visiting Fellow Alan Borovoy is a leading figure in Canada's human rights movement. He was General Counsel of the Canadian Liberties Association for over 40 years and he has been awarded several honorary doctorates and made an Officer of the Order of Canada.
